Spanky holds a special place in our hearts as the very first horse born on our ranch. Standing almost 16 hands, this handsome and silly gelding has done a little bit of everything! He has been shown in cow horse by both John and Katie—John showed him in the hackamore, while Katie showed him through youth, high school rodeo cow horse, and a little in the non-pro as a bridle horse. Spanky has plenty of ranch experience too, from gathering cattle to dragging calves, although if you ask him, he definitely prefers arena life.
